I am not your typical pharmacist. An opportunity to intern at a leading global pharmaceutical company provided me with a huge appreciation of how much effort is required to bring a product to market, ultimately improving patients' health outcomes. It sparked my decision to become an industrial pharmacist with a commercial focus on sales & marketing. I returned to graduate school for a business degree (Rotman MBA) to complement my clinical skills & knowledge.
I've spent my career changing perceptions to reduce stigma and advocate for patients, working on interesting and often misunderstood brands and categories including Viagra®, Botox®, breast implants and cannabinoid-based medicine. It's a team effort, and I thrive when leading change and motivating diverse, cross-functional, country, regional and global teams to execute a vision. I love creating B2B/B2C/B2B2C campaigns, developing brands, integrating & launching new products, managing complex projects & portfolios, and collaborating with key stakeholders to champion a cause. I'm considered a master communicator and a positive changemaker. My happy place is where strategy, creativity, and most importantly, patient-centricity all intersect!
